Rising over Education City in the Al Rayyan district of Doha, the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC) is one of the Middle East's most iconic event destinations and a true architectural landmark. Designed by the celebrated Japanese architect Arata Isozaki and opened in December 2011, the building draws its inspiration from the Sidra tree, a cherished symbol of learning and gathering in Qatari culture. Its striking exterior features two intertwined trees that reach up to support a sweeping canopy, while the light-filled interior makes use of glass and architectural wire mesh to create an elegant, modern feel. The whole structure was built to LEED Gold sustainability standards, with solar panels and energy-efficient systems woven into its bold architecture, making QNCC Qatar as forward-thinking as it is beautiful.

Inside, the sheer scale is impressive: the QNCC seating capacity stretches to around 27,000 delegates across nine exhibition halls, a 4,000-seat conference hall, a 2,300-seat theatre, three auditoria and 52 flexible meeting rooms.
