Shreya Ghoshal is one of the most powerful and legendary voices in today's world. She came into the limelight with the soundtrack of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film "Devdas." She gave such an enchanting performance that she received the National Film Award, the Filmfare Award for Best Playback Singer, and the RD Burman Award for Best New Music Talent.

After "Devdas," she proceeded with renowned collaborations with AR Rahman, Shankar Ehsaan Loy, Vishal Shekhar, and Pritam, among others. Her voice has been reverberating in more than 3000 songs in 20 languages, which is a major reason she has emerged as one of the front-running artists of her genre. She has lent her voice to Aishwarya Rai, Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, and many more, and she completed 20 years in the year 2022.

Her fame went international when the Governor of Ohio declared 26 June 2010 as "World Shreya Ghoshal Day." She was also honored in the House of Commons in the UK for her contribution to the arts and has appeared multiple times in Forbes India's "Top 100 Celebrities" listing. Shreya is also the first Indian singer to have a wax statue at Madame Tussaud's Museum and featured in the 2016 listing of Verve's "50 Power Women.".
