DJ Melody Kane has gained a solid reputation amongst her peers in the music industry as being one of the most professional, talented & focused female DJ’s in the UK. Her performances have been seriously tearing up sound systems, being one of the few female DJ’s who spins on vinyl, hosts herself on the Mic and has some serious technical mixing ability.

2015’s UEA award finalist Melody Kane (Best DJ Category), has a monthly mix-show residency on the world famous BBC Radio 1Xtra & has also made several guest appearances on their sister station BBC Radio 1, where she has been commissioned to create bespoke mixes for the likes of Charlie Sloth, Mista Jam, Target & Tim Westwood. Both Rinse FM & Capital Xtra have also featured specialist mixes from Melody.

Melody has appeared on line-ups amongst some of the industries biggest names including; Snoop Dogg, 2Chainz, Tinnie Tempah, Skepta, Ghetts, BBK, A$AP Rocky, Professor Green, Ms Dynamite, Jessie J, Example, Flo Rida & Black Eyes Peas to name just a few, playing to crowds up to 70,000 strong.

Her profile has been raised further by being the DJ for ITV’s Diversity Awards, BBC3’s MOBO Awards, Channel 4’s screening party showcase and making a special guest appearance at the A3C Music Festival, Best of British Showcase held in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. She also hosts her own weekly club night on Playa D’en Bossa Beach in Ibiza, where she is the Islands only female urban DJ.

Melody is the founder & creator of Melody Kane Sound Xchange (MKSX) a movement which showcases MC’s and Artists from both established and next generation Urban acts. Due to the movement’s success in the capital, 2013 saw the first UK Tour, hitting major cities throughout the country & making several European appearances. It also led to Melody making a special appearance on BBC Radio 1 as part of their International Women’s Day Schedule. In 2016 MKSX will be releasing it’s debut EP
